Worship Gatherings

You’re Invited to Worship with Us

One of our strategies to fulfill our mission is to gather for the sacraments where God fills us with His gifts.

We do that on both Saturdays and Sundays year-round. Saturday services are held at 5:30pm. We also have regular Sunday morning services. Please check our calendar to see what our Sunday morning worship times are.

Communion is served weekly except when it is the fifth weekend of the month and on other rare occasions.

Wiggles Welcome: We create worship packs for kids to help little hearts and hands stay engaged during worship. Each bag is filled with goodies like sermon-themed activities, stickers, a fun craft or fidget toy and even a snack to keep stomach grumbles at bay. Grab one at the sanctuary entrance before the service starts! Worship together, wiggles and all; we’re glad you’re here!

Sunday Morning Bible classes are held for all ages at 9:30am on the Sundays in which we have two morning worship services.

Communion Beliefs

What is Holy Communion or the Lord’s Supper?
It is the true body and blood of our Lord, Jesus Christ, given and shed for us in, with and under bread and wine by Christ’s command and promise. (Matthew 26:26–28)

What does this holy meal give us?
Forgiveness of sins, life and salvation for where there is forgiveness of sins there is also life and salvation. (1 Corinthians 11:26) Those who are baptized, instructed and share this confession are invited to commune. Others may come forward for a blessing.

Music & Worship Ministries

The Sanctuary Choir meets Tuesdays, 7:00–8:30 PM: (September–May) and sings at one weekend service (alternating between 8:00 AM and 10:45 AM). Reading music is helpful but not required—we offer training along the way!

The Handbell Choir meets Tuesdays, 6:00–6:45 PM (September–May) and rings in worship about every 4–6 weeks. Reading music is helpful, but not required.

The Worship Team rehearses before the 10:45 AM service each Sunday and plays throughout the year.

The Tech Ministry needs volunteers to advance slides, run our live broadcast, and help with other areas depending on your skills. Tech is the backbone of our worship ministry—there’s a seat for you!

Altar Guild: A group of volunteers rotate to prepare the altar and chancel for worship and the sacraments.

Prayer Ministry: Not a singer or musician? You can still serve by praying for our music and worship ministry—that it would remain Christ-centered and God-honoring. Contact the office if you want to receive our weekly email prayer chain with specific intercessory prayer requests from our members.

Ushers: Each service has ushers who greet, open doors, collect offerings, and guide worshipers to communion—ensuring worship flows smoothly and everyone feels welcome.

Communion Assistants: Serving the elements of Jesus’ body and blood with the bread and wine is an important ministry needed at almost every worship service.

Lectors: Members with the gift of reading aloud share the Bible selections for the worship service.

Acolytes: Lighting the candles for worship gives us a visual reminder of God’s presence.

Sanctuary Refreshing Team: Each week, a group gathers to ready the sanctuary for worship—vacuuming, dusting, and restocking pews with pencils and cards.
