Saint Michael Lutheran School is an accredited, coeducational school serving students in Pre-Kindergarten through eighth grade. Founded in 1956, Saint Michael has proudly served Lee County families for generations, providing a Christ-centered education that nurtures the whole child.
At Saint Michael, we believe education is about more than academics. We are committed to helping each student grow spiritually, academically, socially, and emotionally in a caring and supportive environment. Our dedicated teachers challenge students to think critically, discover their strengths, develop their God-given gifts, and become confident, compassionate individuals.
Academic excellence begins early at Saint Michael. From our Pre-Kindergarten classrooms through Eighth grade, students are challenged with a strong, rigorous curriculum that builds a solid foundation for future success. Our youngest learners are introduced to age-appropriate literacy, mathematics, science, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills through engaging, hands-on experiences. As students progress through each grade level, they are continually challenged to deepen their knowledge, think independently, and apply what they have learned. We believe students thrive when they are both supported and appropriately challenged.
Our students come from throughout Lee County and from a variety of backgrounds, cultures, and faith traditions. While many of our families come from Lutheran backgrounds, Saint Michael welcomes students and families from a wide range of Christian denominations and faith traditions. This diversity enriches our school community and gives students opportunities to learn from one another, appreciate different perspectives, and build meaningful friendships.
